“ Accidentally stumped upon this restaurant as we were looking for a quick dinner in Austin on a Saturday. The place had live acoustic music and cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious! The drinks were decent. Young hip decor. Friendly staff. ”
“ Great drinks. Great bartenders! Great food. Don’t sleep on the hash brown or the banana bread! Really felt at home here. The service here was really great (Lauren and Kaitlyn for the win)! ”
“ One of my go-to brunch spots! Everything is fresh and flavorful. Banana bread with espresso mascarpone is delicious! Good juices and even better lattes. The Brassicas bowl (pictured) is my healthy go to but I also love the BEK. My husband keeps coming back for the burger and fries. Haven’t had a bad dish. I love the outdoor seating for fresh air but if birds nearby bothers you - ask for indoor seating. Great options for those avoiding gluten or just looking for dang delicious, nourishing food. ”
“ Make sure if you want to eat here you make reservations a couple days in advance! The service was phenomenal. My friend and i arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation time and went to check in. Instead of waiting, which we planned on, they were able to seat us immediately. Our waiter was prompt in greeting us and continuously serving us through the meal. The food came out fast and was really good; something slightly different from your average breakfast place. My only tip is to not order a coffee, for some reason any time someone ordered a coffee the waiters would tell them that it would be an extremely long wait and ask if that was okay. Not sure why they would be behind on making coffee so just be aware. Other than that, 10/10. ”
“ Such a lovely restaurant with very kind staff. We came for breakfast and the drinks were great. We got the taro latte, the standard drip coffee, and the hot green tea. The service was super fast, even with a decent crowd inside. The smoked salmon toast was so delicious with a good helping of salmon. The salmon cream cheese on it was a great addition too. The avocado toast had quality, ripe avocados on it and the flavors were well balanced. It’s easy to tell that they put time and effort to serve food that looks and tastes good, and that has good serving sizes. I would totally come back again. ”
“ This cafe was a great spot for brunch with friends! All the food was so delicious and fresh, I’ll definitely be coming back. I loved the fact that there were plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions. I had both the Steak & Eggs as well as the famous Banana Walnut Bread - both gluten free! ”
“ Stopped by this restaurant in a super popular area—perfect for people-watching, especially with their cozy outdoor seating. The vibe was laid-back, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. We ordered the smoked salmon toast, a side of hash browns, and the burger with fries. The smoked salmon toast was full of flavor, and the bits of salmon blended into the cream cheese were a pleasant surprise that added richness and texture. The burger ended up being a really nice surprise—juicy, flavorful, and just a solid, well-done burger. Definitely something I’d come back for. The fries on the side were a little too oily for me, but not a dealbreaker. The hash browns were perfectly crispy—exactly how I like them. Golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. A small side dish, but done really well. Overall, a great place to relax, eat well, and enjoy the energy of the area. Would happily return! ”
“ Absolutely loved this little spot! It’s definitely small so I’d recommend making a reservation. The juices tasted great, as did the coffee and alcoholic beverages. That banana espresso martini was to die for!! Our server was super sweet and friendly.. she gave us plenty recommendations for hitting the city after brunch. Parking isn’t fun but there is parking garage nearby for like 25. I’m still thinking about the harissa chicken bowl. It was super fresh, well seasoned, a little spicy, crunchy... omg! And the portion sizes are definitely bigger than expected. I’d recommend stopping by if you love fresh food, laidback vibes, and drinks! I think they have happy hour too! ”
